Abstract

The author bases the content of this article on the results of his own research related to human resources management and in particular to holistic aspects of managerial staff selection. The author proposes to apply the selection of managerial staff through a holistic evaluation of personal, professional and social competences. The author presents the results of his own research as a reference to the analysed issue. He proposes the use of specific, authorial evaluation measures, which have been verified in the economic practice of employee selection in Slovak organizations.
