Abstract

We present a unique case management of a patient having rheumatoid arthritis with sterile perforation of peripheral ulcerative keratitis and advanced cataract with zonular dialysis. A peripheral patch grafting was done in first stage followed 3 weeks later with micro-phacoemulsification of cataract. Intraoperatively noted zonular dialysis was stabilized using a capsular tension ring to permit a foldable intraocular lens to be placed in the bag. This is to highlight the two-staged management strategy in such complicated cases.
