Abstract

The incidence of ovarian cancer complicated with pregnancy is between 1:10,000 and 1:50,000. Herein we present the first case using robotic surgery to manage ovarian cancer complicated with pregnancy. A 36-year-old female was found to have a left ovarian tumor during her 14th gestational week of pregnancy. The CA-125 level was measured at 414 U/mL and malignancy was highly suspected. By robotic approach, surgical staging including left salpingo-oophorectomy, bilateral pelvic lymph node dissection, para-arotic lymph node dissection and omentectomy were performed without harming the uterus.
