Abstract

Introduction: Mass bleeding in the area of the skull base presents a significant problem in the field of skull base surgery. It is primarily the limited access to the bleeding area and the massive loss of blood that causes high mortality in such cases. Close cooperation with neuroradiology is essential to prevent, diagnose, and treat skull base surgery-related bleeding. We summarize our experience in the management of such cases.
