Abstract
This month's clinical practice guideline review is on hyperbilirubinemia in healthy term newborns. Due to the large number of newborns that experience clinical jaundice each year in the United States and the controversy that continues to surround the treatment of hyperbilirubinemia in healthy newborns, this guideline should be of great interest to nurse practitioners that treat this population.
