Abstract

HIGHLIGHTS Extracellular vesicles (EV) from human bone marrow were able to reduce airway inflammation in a mouse model. Treatment applied by Intratracheal injection was more effective than systemic administration by caudal vein injection. IT administration of EVs appears to act therapeutically by restoring the basal BAL cell counts and attenuating early lung remodeling.
