PurposeTo describe the international conference and promote conference proceedings.FindingsTaking advantage of the 2006 IFLA Meeting in Seoul immediately after, this 3rd Shanghai International Library Forum drawing a large number of international participants was deemed a great success.Design/methodology/approachDescribes the 3rd Shanghai International Library Foum.Originality/valueGives an interview of the conference.
