Abstract

A 22-year–old man with a history of multicentric Castleman disease, which was previously treated with rituximab, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone, presented to the emergency department (ED) complaining of a productive cough that lasted for 1 week. The patient denied recent travel, hospital admissions, and other cardiopulmonary symptoms. The patient’s vital signs included a blood pressure of 139/68 mm Hg, a pulse rate of 88 beats/minute, a respiratory rate of 16 breaths/minute, a temperature of 36.4 °C, and an oxygen saturation level of 100% on ambient air.
