Abstract

A 58-year-old man presented with chronic foot pain after a nonoperatively treated remote gunshot wound of the left great toe, sustained during an altercation. Physical examination revealed a short swollen first ray and crepitus with motion. Radiographs (Figures 1-2) and corresponding computed tomography (CT) (Figures 3-4) demonstrated radiodense fragmentation and osteoarticular destruction.
