Abstract
Soviet patriotism is the love of a Soviet person not only for his native region but for our entire vast homeland, inhabited by more than a hundred nationalities that constitute one great, friendly family. Soviet patriotism is organically linked with proletarian internationalism. The Program of the CPSU emphasizes: In developing the love of the Soviet people for their Fatherland, the party proceeds from the fact that, with the formation of the world socialist system, the patriotism of citizens of socialist society becomes embodied in loyalty and faithfulness to their Homeland, to the entire commonwealth of socialist Socialist patriotism and socialist internationalism organically include proletarian solidarity with the working class and with the working people of all countries.
