Abstract

The new MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG light and medium TGL/TGM series completely replaced the successful L/M2000 series within only 18 months and sets new standards in the respective segments. Trade journalists have already singled out the TGL for the “Truck of the Year 2006” award, in which it was clearly points ahead of the competition. This article describes concept, cab, chassis and engine of the new series. Axles, the electronic system, brakes and driveline are described in the October edition of ATZ.
