Abstract

Enteral tube feeding is usually a relatively straightforward method of nutritional support, which is very common in critical patients.The fourmost common methods of enteral tube feeding are nasogastric tubes, nasojejunal tubes, gastrostomy and nesteostomy at present. Identifying the at-risk patient with careful monitoring is crucial, and should be facilitated by a multiprofessional team.
