Abstract
An Hellenistic inscription from Amathous mentions a cult dedicated to Zeus Meilichios. The chtonian nature of this deity such as it appears in the Greek world is in perfect harmony with our knowledge of this Great God, otherwise known as Malika, and bears out the identification ; this one is very likely late.
