Malformations and inhibitory tendencies induced toBrachydanio rerio (Hamilton-Buchanan) eggs and larvae due to exposures in low concentrations of lead and copper ions

Abstract

In this paper it was shown that the presence of lead ions in distilled water induced epithelioma and that copper ions caused spirality of the nervous system. Lead ions antagonised the effect due to copper by suppressing abnormality and inhibitory tendency due to copper.
