Malaysian Poet Sima. Ilango’s Traditional Poems: A Study

Abstract

Traditional poetry literature emerged in Malaysia and continues to this day with many developments and glories. The development of Malaysia Tamil poetry, traditional poetry, began in 1863 to the present day and has gone through many periods. Poet Sima. Ilangois a senior poet in Malaysian poetry. Poet Ilango has been selected for this study.The purpose of this article is to explore the poetic elements in his works of traditional poetry. In Ilango’s traditional poems, theme, concepts, poetic element, impact, and lesson of the poem have been found and explained.
