Abstract

From lizards caught in the Codajaz region, Amazonas, Brazil, the following malaria parasites are described:Plasmodium rhadinurum Thompson & Huff, 1944 from Iguana iguana L.A species of Plasmodium from Ameiva ameiva L.A species of Plasmodium from Cnemidophorus lemniscatus (Daudin).I wish to express my thanks to the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazonia (I.N.P.A.) at Manaus for their help in the collection of material; to Professor P.
