EDITOR, - On 18 February the secretary of state for Wales signed an order prohibiting general practitioners from “supplying” childhood vaccines from 1 March (amending paragraph 44/5 of the statement of fees and allowances for general practitioners). After 10 days' delay this was faxed late on 28 February to family health services authorities, and it was received by general practitioners on 4 March.
