Abstract

This commentary addresses issues pertinent to school-based anxiety-targeted mental health checkups for children and adolescents. The commentary discusses (a) avenues toward policy change—how to “make the need salient” and (b) the utility of developing strategies that fit seamlessly into school routines and that have self-sustaining characteristics—how to “make the benefit clear.”
