Abstract
Different users have different emphasis on residential product due to their differences in lifestyle. Users' requirements are the original information source of product design and determine the focus of product design according to the core requirements of different user groups. It is significant to develop means and tools to better understand and identify users' requirements. This article focuses on users' requirements on prefabricated residential products in China, first examining the subgroups of users and their particular preferences and needs, then introducing the concept of users' requirement elements. Taking prefabricated kitchen cabinets as an example, this article established the requirements meta-analysis model and weight matrix, and demonstrated how to measure users' requirements based on fuzzy logical synthesis. The research shows that this method can also be applied to the related fields such as residential design and furniture product design, which has certain reference significances for the design and optimization of industrial residences and related products.
