Abstract
AbstractControl of pH is a central consideration in handling proteins, and this requires the use of buffer solutions. Furthermore, a typical protein purification schedule will contain several steps generally needed to be carried out in buffers of different pH values and ionic strengths (see Note 1). Hence, it is necessary to have available methods for changing buffers.
