Abstract

This article examines the main aspects of sobornost or catholicity of the Church, as formulated by prominent 20th century theologians St. I. Popovich, G. Florovsky, V. Lossky, and D. Staniloae, whose works are deeply rooted in the tradition of the Holy Fathers. The concept of sobornost in the 20th century was examined by these theologians from a triadological, Christological, pneumatological and anthropological point of view.
