Abstract

This paper describes key environmental decisions issued by the federal courts over the past year since Environmental Law Forum 2013. Part I addresses developments before the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS). Parts II through IX discuss cases in the federal appeals courts concerning National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), multi-district MTBE litigation, the Dormant Commerce Clause, citizen suits, and Article III standing.
