Abstract

Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), a lifelong disease, has a significant impact on quality of life. Previous small-scale studies identified a higher prevalence of psychiatric conditions among patients with EoE. We used a large population-based database to estimate the lifetime prevalence of depressive disorders and suicidality among patients with EoE.
