Abstract
: Two field experiments were conducted at the private farm at El- Nubaria, El- Behria, Egypt, during the summer seasons of 2017 and 2018 to study the response of the maize hybrid TWC 310 to soil amendments and mineral + biofertilization. Split plot design with three replications was used, where the main plots occupied by soil amendments (soil application of Sulfur (S) at the rate of 100 kg/fed, Humic acid with irrigation water (3 kg/fed) and soil application of Fluvic acid (2 kg/fed) and soil application of compost at the rate of 5 t/fed), meanwhile the sub plots contained mineral NPK fertilizers with bio- fertilizers of NPK (100% mineral NPK, 75 % mineral NPK + bio- fertilizers, and bio- fertilizers of NPK) in both seasons. The obtained results indicated that using compost, fulvic acid, and humic acid with mineral NPK (75% of recommended dose) with biofertilizer fertilizers increased yield and its components of maize under El- Nubaria Region.
