Abstract
A visual maintenance information platform for hydropower equipment was developed in this paper. Under hydropower station optimal maintenance information system integrated monitoring platform, combined with equipment engineering 3D visual models and monitoring means, the visual operating principle and operating data of hydropower equipment were achieved; while states warning visualization and maintenance process visual simulation were implemented. The maintenance information visualization can help maintenance staff to carry out operating analysis and maintenance actions of abnormal equipment, which can assist the staff to handle the equipment status and implement the equipment condition based maintenance. The maintenance information visualization platform has successfully been applied in Gezhouba Hydropower Station.
