Abstract

A small post-cathode magnetron sputtering system using a moving magnet inside the cathode is described. Unusual features in the voltage-current characteristics of the device are discussed. The system is particularly useful for coating inside cylindrical substrates, especially glass tubes for solar energy collectors.
