Abstract

In article number 2202203, S. Karmakar, D. R. Chowdhury, and colleagues have demonstrated an optically thin superlattice metamaterial, which renders demarked ability to differentially tune its resonance frequencies with the combined effect of near-field coupling and spin-dependent magneto-transport mechanism at terahertz (THz) frequencies. Such resonance tuning characteristics (larger intensity modulation: dipole resonance, frequency modulation: Fano resonance) lead to accurate detection of minute variation of external magnetic fields (approximately few milli-tesla) with THz spectroscopy.
