Abstract

We present magnetotransport data of two‐dimensional electron gases in a corrugated InAs/InGaAs heterostructure grown on a metamorphic InAlAs buffer layer. When tilting the external magnetic field with respect to the sample normal we observe a strong damping of the Shubnikov‐de Haas oscillation amplitude. We discuss this damping in terms of electron transport in a fluctuating magnetic field as well as a modulated electron density.
