Abstract
We investigated heterogeneous alloys of the quasi-binary series Cu 90Fe x Co 10− x (0≤ x≤10). Two magnetic phases appear in the ternary alloy, and the magnetoresistance decreases with increasing Fe content. The effect of B substitution was investigated for several Cu-Co-B samples, where intermetallic CoB and Co 2B precipitates appeared. The magnetoresistance is strongly depressed even for only small additions of B.
