Abstract

We have studied the reflectivity spectra of modulation-doped CdTe/Cd0.6Mg0.4Te and Cd1−xMnxTe/Cd0.6Mg0.4Te quantum well structures with a two-dimensional electron gas of low density. The evolution of exciton and trion parameters with the magnetic field has been analyzed. A strong modification of the exciton radiative and nonradiative damping parameters has been found in magnetic fields at filling factors close to ν=1 in right- and left-hand circular polarization.
