Abstract
An angular acceleration sensor for control system stabilization is described. Magnetohydrodynamic principles are applied to develop a voltage in a toroid of mercury having a permanent magnet field and electrodes. The transfer function'is given by e/θ = Ks <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sup> /(s + 1/T).
