Abstract

Magnetoelectric properties of the two-layer composites based on a Mn0.4Zn0.6Fe2O4 ferrite and different piezoelectrics (a PbZr0.53Ti0.47O3/Epoxy particulate piezoelectric composite with the ratio of the piezoelectric coefficient to the permittivity pd31/pε33 ≈ 0.09 and a PbZr0.53Ti0.47O3 piezoceramics with pd31/pε33 ≈ 0.06) were compared. The magnetoelectric properties of the composites are shown to be enhanced as the ratio pd31/pε33 for a piezoelectric is increased.
