Abstract
AbstractMagnetoelectric effect and the properties of electric polarization appearing in a vicinity of magnetic inhomogeneity in bi‐layered ferromagnetic film have been theoretically considered. It has been shown that a variety of electric polarization transformations is possible under the action of applied magnetic field.The magnetization processes and the behaviour of polarization appear to be dependent on the relation between layers parameters. Two situations of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interlayer coupling have been considered and analysed. (© 2011 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
