Abstract
This paper presents experimental results concerning the possibility of using glass-covered amorphous wires (GCAW) as magnetostrictive delay lines (MDL). High frequency current annealing, heat annealing and dc current annealing are used in order to make the magnetic and magnetoelastic response of glass-covered amorphous wires as uniform as possible.
