Abstract

1. Low-induction ferrites which contain scandium are characterized by high speed and a low selfheating temperature and, thus, constitute the most promising material for fast circuits. 2. The introduction of activator ions constitutes the most promising method for transforming the magnetic characteristics of ferrimagnetics. 3. A family of thermally stable ferrites with low induction can be obtained by using Sc3+ and Sc3++ Cr3+ ions in multicomponent systems.
