Abstract

Magnetic torque measurements have been made in a Nd2Fe14B single crystal at temperatures ranging from 4.2 K to the Curie temperature. The magnetocrystalline anisotropy constants K1 and (K2 − K3) were determined by using a least mean squares routine instead of the usual Fourier analysis.
