Abstract

The article discloses an experimental and theoretical study of the magnetocaloric effect in a uniaxial ferromagnetic crystal on the orientation phase transition. The proposed by authors method based on heat exchange in a layered structure, polycrystalline cobalt and a film of heat-sensitive material with metal-dielectric phase transition is promoted. The results of the experiment are made in accordance with the general expression for ferromagnets.
