Abstract
Landau emission studies from intentionally doped GaAsGaAlAs multi-quantum-well structures are reported. Besides the usual cyclotron emission, impurity emission has been observed and identified as due to the 2p + → 1s (z i) transition for donors located at all the possible positions z i in the structure. The general features of this confined-impurity emission are discussed.
