Abstract

Uniform magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the axis of a circular cylinder with finite and constant permeability. The surface magnetic charge distributions and the ballistic demagnetizing factors for such a magnetizing field problem are calculated numerically by the surface magnetic charge simulation method. The results are shown for various cases of different aspect ratio and relative permeability.
