Abstract

A generalization of the diagonal Weyl metrics, which is obtained by a Harrison transformation over the Ernst potential ε, is presented. The Ernst potential is defined for a linear combination of the Killing vectors ∂τ and ∂σ. The cases which correspond to Kasner and Voorhees metrics are analyzed in some detail.
