Abstract

Static magnetization measurements of Sr 2 RuO 4 have been performed down to 0.1 K. An anomalous increase of magnetization is observed at H 2 which is located just below H c 2 . The onset field H 2 gradually decreases with temperature and seems to merge with H c 2 around 1 K. Besides the above anomaly, a small kink is found in the magnetization curves at around 9 kOe. These magnetization behaviors are analyzed from the viewpoint of the Ginzburg–Landau theory.
