Abstract

Low temperature hysteresis loops have been measured on a SmCo 3.5Cu 1.5 single crystal and a Sm(Co-Cu-Fe-Ti) 6.8 sintered magnet. Both alloys exhibit large discontinuities of magnetization in demagnetization curves at very low temperatures. An anomalous temperature dependence of the coercivity H c( T) is observed at a low temperature region in which H c decreasing temperature.
