Abstract

The possible evolution of the magnetization reversal mode of Ir-doped CrO 2 particles as the Ir content increases is analyzed through rotational hysteresis and H c vs. θ measurements. The reversal mode evolves from the curling mode (undoped particles) to the fanning (low Ir content) and becomes more and more heterogeneous with Ir increasing.
