Abstract
Magnetization and 57Fe Mössbauer studies on a new series RuSiFe x (0.47⩽ x⩽2.0) are reported. T m is independent of x for x > 0.6. For x⪆1.3, the alloys are normal ferromagnets. However, HF(Fe) anomaly, akin to RuFeSi ( T hf⪡ T m), is observed for 1.2⪆x⪆0.6. For x<0.6, cluster spin glass behaviour is seen.
