Abstract

Multiferroics attracted consideration in the past years owing to their stated outstanding applications and unique distinguished physical properties. They are defined as materials possessing more than two orders simultaneously. Nanomultiferroic samples were synthesized using the combustion method (flash) employing urea as fuel. The effect of Cr3+ doping on the physical properties of the multiferroic Bi0.8La0.2CrxFe1 − xO3; (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1, step 0.02) was studied. XRD investigations pointed to the hexagonal rhombohedral crystal structure. The magnetization of the Bi0.8La0.2CrxFe1− xO3; (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1, step 0.02) was improved, where the maximum magnetization is observed for x = 0.08.
