Abstract

The magnetization, M(H, T), of sputtered Fe1−xBx amorphous films was measured using a SQUID magnetometer in the temperature range 2 K ⩽ T ⩽ 400 K in fields up to 50 kG. Ground state magnetic moments, hyperfine fields and spin wave parameters B and C are discussed as a function of boron concentration (0.16 ⩽ x ⩽ 0.49), which was determined by an elaborate procedure using AES.
