Abstract

How the size of magnetite nanopaticles affects different magnetic properties of the material (magnetic moment, Curie temperature, blocking temperature, and so on) is examined experimentally. Both native particles and particles coated with bioresorbed layers are studied. Experimental results are compared to results obtained via numerical simulations in the classical Heisenberg model with the help of the Monte Carlo method.
