Abstract
Electrical resistivity and magnetic susceptibility have been measured on Ce(Ni 1− x Pd x ) 2Ge 2 single crystals ( x=0.0, 0.12 and 1.0). Ce(Ni 0.88Pd 0.12) 2Ge 2 is paramagnetic at least down to 0.4 K. The set of crystal field parameters of CePd 2Ge 2 are determined based on the fitting of the magnetic susceptibility.
