Abstract
Abstract : The significance of the magnetic site symmetry, in the determination of the dependence of the electron nucleus interactions in magnetic crystals on external parameters such as electric and magnetic fields and stress is studied. It is shown how from the knowledge of the site symmetry, predictions can be made on the properties of this dependence. The case of the fluorine site in MnF2 is described as an illustrative example.
