Abstract
The T=0 magnetic susceptibility of the one-dimensional two-band Anderson model is obtained from the Bethe ansatz exact solution. In the strong-coupling regime this model shows the coherent heavy-Fermi-liquid ground state with the Kondo enhanced susceptibility, and in the weak-coupling regime it exhibits an excitonic insulator-to-metal transition with space increase in Coulomb repulsion.
